Location at the river was very nice !!

The toilets-and showers building really needs to be fully renovated. The water for washing dishes was cold. Toilets have no seats, no toilet paper, no soap to wash hands. The reception office was old and grubby and not welcoming. The restaurant on site dates back to the ‘60s-‘70s All in all I’d prefer to pay more and get the standard that belongs to today. I will not come back to this site unless improved. It’s a shame as the location along the river is very nice

On the banks of the Saone, a few kms south of Macon, this site is perfectly situated. Unfortunately, the site is basic with rudimentary facilities. No toilet paper in the WCs - the motor home faculties station was designed by someone who hasn’t a clue about how high curbs rock the bejaysus out of your van. Very poor.

All the facilities could be improved.

Lovely clean site with excellent views of the river from large pitches. Friendly staff

It’s a shame dogs aren’t allowed round the lake, but I appreciate it’s not the campsite’s fault.

Location

The bar music was loud until 1am so we got little sleep really put us off we would have probably used again but not with that. There were only 6 people there and the speaker was really loud facing into the campsite which kept the whole family awake.

Nice situation by the river. Friendly staff.

Poor maintenance - untidy. Grass needs cutting. No motorhome service point. No chemical toilet emptying point (closed), no grey water emptying point.

We had a lovely large right on the river bank. Bit shady as so many trees, but would be good in the height of summer

Very little hot water in basins, difficult to have a shave. In the washing up area, hot and cold taps round the wrong way, and leaks from waste pipe and control taps. Made floor slippery.

We stayed here in June and was impressed with the site and the little restaurant and bar. Very quiet and dog friendly- will be coming back

As it was end of season the site was quiet. We chose a pitch on by the river. Toilets and showers were clean and plenty for those on site. Bike track on the river bank that went all the way to Macon and beyond!

No sure if there are enough toilets etc for the busy season
