From the Kienehoef you can make beautiful trips. Cycling or hiking in the lovely surroundings of St. Oedenrode. To play golf on the 9 hole golf course “De Schoot”, or to take a swim in the indoor municipal swimming pool “De Neul” on a cloudy day. Furthermore you can pay a visit to the forest “Het Groene Woud” of 7,500 ha, located between the cities of Eindhoven, Tilburg and 's-Hertogenbosch, which has a very rich cultural history and many natural reserves.

Review of the campsite

Elke jaar kijk ik uit naar de maand juni waar we met ons gepimpt sleurhutje mogen genieten op de Kienehoef. In de ochtend een rondje hardlopen en daarna een stukje zwemmen in het meer. Dat is fantastisch! De kinderen zijn de hele dag bezig op de sup en met een schepnet in de weer. Hutten worden gebouwd in de bosjes en ringen opgedoken in het zwembad. In de avond genieten we van gezelligheid met vrienden onder het genot van een bbq en een drankje. En naar school en werk? Dan doen we gewoon vanaf hier. Tot volgend jaar!

- een scheidingsboei/touw in het meer. We kunnen de kinderen dan zeggen hoe ver ze mogen zwemmen - douche bij het meer - prullenbak bij het meer - zandvrije tegels bij het zwembad - ligweide bij het zwembad

De accommodatie was prima goed onerhouden

De afvoer bij waterkraan was regelmatig verstopt ondanks dat er wat aan gedaan was.
