There’s something for everyone at The Quiet Site with a wide range of glamping options for solo travellers, couples and families which have been designed and locally built to be sustainable, affordable and fun. A fabulous Lake District holiday awaits in our rustic Glamping Burrows, Gingerbread Houses, Glamping Cabins or Camping Pods, and our lovely Self-Catering Holiday Cottage and also traditional Camping and Touring hardstanding pitches.

Sympathetic development has enabled us to retain the traditional ambiance of a Cumbrian farm while offering sustainable technologies and modern glamping accommodation.

We are delighted to have Britain’s first and only Zero Waste shop on a Holiday Park - our The Quiet Shop. Our restaurant The Quiet Bite provides delicious, fresh food all year round. Often described as the Best Bar in Britain, our The Quiet Bar has a unique atmosphere! A great place to swap stories and tales about the day’s events within ancient stone walls heated by a huge log fire.
