The campsite extends along the Sauze beach, so you can reach the Ardèche, swim, go fishing and canoeing or simply laze in the sunshine merely by walking down to the lower end of the campsite. The site has 120 shady, bordered plots, all with electricity. Our rental properties consist of 25 mobile homes fitted with every comfort. There are attractive, practical sanitary blocks available for your use.

On the right bank of the river, in the village of Salavas, in front of Vallon Pont d'Arc, Le Clapas is installed along the water at the entrance of the gorges of Ardeche. The road (_le chemin de la Vernède_) that leads you to the campsite has its end ... at the campsite : no traffic for more quietness and security. The camp, created in 1981, has a magnificent vegetation and many trees to ensure a natural shade.

Our campsite is ideally situated : 2 km from BERRIAS, small village of the South Ardèche, near Les Vans (11 km) and near Ruoms (15 km) and in only 3 km of the river Chassezac. You can organize your holidays according to your envy : - Stay quietly in the campsite and take advantage of the swimming pool with its balnéo corner. The swimming pool is open throughout the season and heated in May, June and September so that you can enjoy a dip in the water even when the weather has no mercy. Children can have fun in the playground or playing ping pong while parents enjoy a game of pétanque. The tennis court is available to all guests (small charge applies in July and August). - To trail around you and to discover markets in the morning or in the evening, to visit typical villages, character, caves and museums to know better our patrimony - Spend more _sports_ holidays by discovering paths of MOUNTAIN BIKE, pedestrian, by taking advantage of sites of escalation, canoë in the Ardèche or Chassezac ...
