On the edge of Cantal and Lot, the domain “La Plage du Garoustel” is perfectly located on the dam of Saint Etienne-Cantalès's lake whose water filling created one of the most beautiful artificial lake of France.

The camp site, situated by a crystal clear brook, is part of a former water mill. There are 55 camping pitches, of different sizes. Apart from the pitches situated by the border of the brook, there are also a range of terraces. These terraces are nicely private due to the wide green belts in between them. The entire property, in harmony with the surroundings, was formerly part of the rural _Chaules_ estate. The ruins of the old castle, owned by our neighbour, rise high above the trees and can be visited (at your own risk since parts are a little unstable). During the high-season period (July / August) the camp site is very family oriented with a wide range of facilities for all ages. Out of season, the camp site is very popular with people who prefer a quiet, spacious site with lots of opportunities for walking, excursions, etc.

The Flower Camping Le Belvedere, 4 stars, located at 700 above sea level, overlooking the Gorges Dam Truyère Lanau between Volcanoes Park and Aubrac in southern Cantal, is located on the terraced pitches, exposed south. relaxation and scenery provided. The Domaine de l'Ours***, a small family campsite in Aubrac covering 2 hectares, has unusual lodges, wooden cabins and unusual tents. Like gîtes, some lodges have all the comforts, while others only have toilets and running water. Our campsite in Saint-Urcize on the Aubrac also has 30 camping pitches and a cosy common room, ideal for our camping friends when the weather is stormy.

The 1,2ha camping is rated 4 stars 2013 Tourism and adheres to the _Welcome to the Farm_ network. It is staged on two levels (Level 1: pitches; 2nd level: rentals) on ground dry and filtering, partially shaded. Altitude 630m.
