We’re very pleased that you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, your pitch and especially our sanitary facilities, which we take great care to keep spotless every day. Regarding the “chaotic” arrival, we suspect this may have been linked to your wish to shorten your 10-night stay as soon as you arrived, mainly because of the weather forecast — before even having had the chance to discover the campsite. We simply explained that a confirmed 10-night booking is a commitment and cannot be shortened at the last minute depending on the weather. Fortunately, Normandy decided to prove us right! 😉 The weather turned out much better than forecast, you stayed all 10 nights and, judging by your review, you were happy with your stay after all! Chère famille Cocatrix, Merci pour votre avis et pour vos compliments sur le calme, la propreté de nos sanitaires et notre étang de pêche 😊 Concernant la piscine, petite précision pour nos futurs vacanciers : sa température est **maintenue à 26°C minimum** et peut monter naturellement jusqu’à **28-29°C selon la température extérieure**. Elle ne descend donc jamais en dessous de 26°C. Mais nous avons tous notre propre « thermomètre intérieur » 😄 : certains trouvent 26°C très agréable, tandis que d’autres, un peu plus frileux, préféreraient une eau tropicale ! Nous avons fait le choix de ne pas chauffer davantage, afin de conserver une température confortable tout en restant dans une démarche **écologique et raisonnable en consommation d’énergie**. Nous espérons que cette précision rassurera les futurs nageurs qui hésiteraient à se jeter à l’eau ! 🏊‍♀️😊 Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau au Camping Le Picard ! We are a little surprised by your comments regarding the pitch and access, especially as you stayed with us last year and the layout and pitches have not changed. When you had difficulty accessing your original pitch this year, we offered you an alternative location, and you chose pitch No. 36 yourself. We therefore did our best to find a solution that suited you. We understand that manoeuvring a 7m+ motorhome can sometimes require care, particularly around trees and hedges, but the access and pitch configuration are unchanged from your previous stay. The rule is clearly mentioned on our website under “Our Activities”, in the email sent before arrival with all the information to help our guests enjoy the best possible stay (perhaps it went to your spam folder), in our welcome booklet and on the pool regulations sign.
