Very close to Faute sur Mer and Tranche sur Mer, the 3-hectare campsite is ideally located on the south Vendée coast between forests and coastal dune landscapes. Our friendly family campsite is located 900m from the swimming lake, 2km from the beach and close to the tourist sites of our beautiful Vendée: the Marais Poitevin, the Baie de l'Aiguillon, La Rochelle, the Island de Ré, Puy du Fou, ... Come and enjoy our comfortable mobile homes for up to 8 people in a calm and green setting. Spend a nature holiday on one of our pitches reserved for tents, caravans or motorhomes or come and discover the Premium mobile home area with 2 or 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Camping La Forêt opened in the 1970s and ever since, it has been giving you a warm welcome in the city of Aizenay, in a verdant setting by the eponymous forest. A municipal campsite since its first days, it was bought by Karine and Frédéric in February 2018. They undertook a lot of works in order to give the campsite a new life. In 2018 for instance, the bar/snack restaurant area was refurbished, sanitation works were achieved and the electrical system was checked on all camping pitches.
