The Les Breuils campsite is in Verdun in Meuse. It offers tent and caravan pitches or the rental of mobile homes in 5.5 hectares of lush greenery on the shores of a lake. Peace, excellent amenities and a real taste of Lorraine are part of everyday life on this 3-star campsite with its modern, well-maintained and carefully tended amenities. The campsite has 162 spacious pitches marked out with hedges and trees for tents, camper vans or caravans. There are also almost new fully-equipped 2 and 3-bed mobile homes available for rent. For recreation, there is a swimming pool with overflow, paddling pool and water slides – fun for all ages! There is also a sports complex, kids’ playground, boules pitch and beach-volley court. And, of course, the lake is very popular with anglers. All the services you need for that perfect holiday are on site – bar-grillroom, grocery, laundry, phone box, Internet terminal etc. And there’s more – the hire of mountain and all-terrain bikes! A holiday at Les Breuils is also an opportunity to explore Meuse, an area of Lorraine fashioned by passing centuries. There are, of course, memorials to the Great War in Verdun but there are also museums and castles bearing witness to an eventful past full of ups and downs in a region that often found itself in the forefront of the history of France!

Friendly and very nice host

Review of the campsite

The host is very nice and friendly. They have a very nice and good restaurant. The campsite have also a pool area which is clean and a relaxing place to be at. The campsite is very close to the center of the city so you can easily walk to most of it.

Great site and location

Review of the campsite

It was great to find a site in mid September where the swimming pool and restaurant are open. Facilities were excellent and clean. We visited the Memorial Museum and Fort Douaumont and would have liked more time to explore some of the other sites locally.
