The new campsite Monplaisir on the island of Oléron in the Charentes Maritime is close to the centre of the village of St Trojan les Bains and its beaches. Its comfortable and well-equipped mobile homes are scattered across a lovely, wooded area. The campsite has an outdoor, heated swimming pool. For a lively holiday, activities are available during the day and in the evening during the school holidays in July and August. Children from the ages of 4 to 11 and teenagers from 12 to 15 can enjoy activities specially adapted to their age-groups. The campsite is ideally situated for visiting the island of Oléron and its many attractions : The Château of Oléron and its citadel, the light-house of Chassiron, the port of La Cotinière, the beach of Boyarville with its view over the famous Fort Boyard… As far as leisure activities are concerned, water sports are top on the list: sailing, wind-surfing, swimming, surfing, diving, boat trips, fishing… Other activities include golf, fishing, horse riding, hiking, sand-yachting, cycling and thalassotherapy treatments.

Le mobil home était spacieux, les pistes cyclables sont top.
L accueil était agréable.
Avoir les draps et serviettes fournies c’est bien.
Les selles des vélos à changer (aïe, aïe), la taille de la piscine.
Je trouve dommage que les employés ne disent pas forcément bonjour.
C est dépendant du camping, mais nous avons trouvé regrettable le manque de sourire et de convivialité du snack.

Nous avons aimé le confort des mobils-home, le calme et la situation du camping.
La disponibilité du Wi-Fi : la connexion Wi-Fi était déplorable : un geste commercial aurait d'ailleurs pu être fait en compensation.
Le mercredi de la deuxième semaine de notre séjour, plus de frite au snack car il s'agit du dernier jour: dommage surtout qu'il était spécifié que le snack est présent jusque fin du mois.

Le mobile home était très bien
L accueil : on dérangeait clairement la dame . Nous étions tardifs mais il n était pas 20:00. Et du coup aucune explication sur le mode de fonctionnement du camping .

Mobile home très bien fonctionnel et bien équipé
Nous avons eu un pb routier du coup nous étions limite d arriver à 20:00. Nous avons tenté d appeler et d écrire pour prévenir mais personne n a jamais répondu . Nous avons roulé comme des fous de peur de rester dehors . Arrivés fin speed à 19:50. Accueil ferme . Heureusement le monsieur du resto nous a montré la boîte à lettre ou une enveloppe nous attendait avec nos clé . Puis une réceptionniste m a appelée pour savoir quand on comptait arriver . J ai répondu su on était là mais que sa porte était close . Réponse :ma caisse était fermée. Je vous donne vos draps et vous revenez demain matin.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans le camping. Le Mobil-home était d’un grand standing avec du matériel de qualité. Le camping est à taille humaine et calme. Seul bémol, le bruit des travaux toute la journée dans le local technique du fond du camping (à proximité de notre bungalow)
Les produits proposés à la supérette. Peut-on appeler ça une supérette? 2 étagères avec quelques produits d’épicerie mais pas de produits frais.
Le pain distribué à partir de 9:00. Tard pour les lève-tôt et les personnes partant le samedi matin.
La laverie à pièce et pas la possibilité d’obtenir la monnaie. De nos jours, mettre en place le paiement en sans contact est un must have

Équipe très conviviale, mobil-home et équipements de très haute qualité, plats proposés au snack très bons et généreux et animations très sympathiques. Lieu très calme où l’on peut vraiment se ressourcer.
Proposition de jeux apéro pourrait être plaisante certains soirs.
Une création de petit jardin à herbes aromatiques (persil, ciboulette, basilic…) serait sympathique et conforme avec la nature du camping dans son environnement.
