Castellane (altitude 720m) is situated in Haute-Provence, at the crossroads of the magnificent Gorges du Verdon (Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon) and the Route Napoléon. It is a calm tourist centre and enjoying the benefits of the Provençal climate. Camping Notre-Dame is bordered by a small stream and is only 600 m from the village. The site is flat and well shaded, having a quiet family atmosphere, providing free hot showers (24 hours a day), small shop and a variety of mobile-homes to rent. Castellane itself offers many shops and a supermarket, a large heated swimming-pool, tennis courts, rafting, kayaking, canyonning and fishing in the Verdon river. At the lake of Castillon, a mere 5kms up a splendid hill, one can sail, windsurf and swim. In addition, there is hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and climbing in the Gorges du Verdon. For the experts, there is cave exploring and geological sites (Réserve Géologique de Haute-Provence). Camping Notre-Dame is open April / October.

Prima, ook voor camper. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Broodservice in de ochtend. Vlakbij leuk dorpje Castellane. Schoon sanitair. Goede wifi op de hele camping. Mooie route langs de Gorges du Verdon om bij de camping te komen.
Geluid van de weg. Zwemmen, zonnen en watersporten kan heel mooi in het prachtige meer van Castillon, maar dat is wel half uur fietsen op drukke autoweg. Als je een auto hebt, is dat geen probleem, veel gratis parkeerruimte bij het meer.

Mobil home classique avec équipement standard.
Une zone autour de la terrasse pas assez délimitée, ce qui fait qu'elle est traversée par d'autres campeurs. Le MH voisin était bien pire puisque la terrasse est un point de passage pour le bloc sanitaire. Ce genre de situation est peu acceptable, à ce prix là, et avec les standards d'aujourd'hui.

Bien agencé et neuf, très fonctionnel même à 4 personnes, la terrasse est un réel atout
Il manque quelques accessoire de commodités dans le bungalow comme un tapis de douche, un torchon et une poubelle pour apporter un minimum de confort et de propreté

Le séjour était super. Bungalow propre, calme, près d’une rivière à pied, près de Castellane et à pied, près d’une marche magique.
J’investirais dans une piscine avec un jacuzzi au bout, avec le réchauffement climatique, on aura de plus en plus de canicule, je pense que c’est un bon investissement, et je verrai ce que le chemin qui est au bord de la rivière, soit dégagé par la mairie parce qu’on n’a pas pu le faire tellement les herbes étaient hautes 🤷♀️🙏🌿🤣😇🌷

Eric le propriètaire est gentil et souriant.
Et si vous avez des enfants il y a à l'entrée du camping un aire de jeu.
