Castellane (altitude 720m) is situated in Haute-Provence, at the crossroads of the magnificent Gorges du Verdon (Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon) and the Route Napoléon. It is a calm tourist centre and enjoying the benefits of the Provençal climate. Camping Notre-Dame is bordered by a small stream and is only 600 m from the village. The site is flat and well shaded, having a quiet family atmosphere, providing free hot showers (24 hours a day), small shop and a variety of mobile-homes to rent. Castellane itself offers many shops and a supermarket, a large heated swimming-pool, tennis courts, rafting, kayaking, canyonning and fishing in the Verdon river. At the lake of Castillon, a mere 5kms up a splendid hill, one can sail, windsurf and swim. In addition, there is hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and climbing in the Gorges du Verdon. For the experts, there is cave exploring and geological sites (Réserve Géologique de Haute-Provence). Camping Notre-Dame is open April / October.

Nous sommes arrivés dans ce camping en soirée pour une semaine, l'accueil d'Eric était chaleureux et très sympathique. Tout au long de notre séjour il a été a notre écoute et nous a très bien conseillé, il connaît très bien ma région et nous indique avec une gentillesse incroyable tous les coins sympas.
Le camping est très bien situé, non loin du centre ville à pied et a côté d'une rivière a deux pas du Verdon. Les infrastructures sont simple et efficace. On n'en demandait pas plus. Les emplacements sont a l'ombre et plats. C'était super. Merci infiniment.

Der Betreiber lebt seinen Job. Jeder Gast wird freundlich begrüsst und zu seinem Platz begleitet. Das ganze Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Anlage ist gepflegt. Ja, in die Jahre gekommen aber immer sauber. Mehrmals im Tag weden die Sanitär-Anlagen kontrolliert und wo nötig gereinigt.
Im kleinen Laden gibts nicht viel zu kaufen. Brotbestellung möglich, frischen Kaffe, Wein, Bier, Chips und Eis. Das Dorf ist in 10 Minuten und der Supermarkt in 25 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Da gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir kommen wieder.
Wir haben nicht gesucht und darum auch nichts gefunden. So richtig ins Auge gesprungen ist nichts.

Es gibt sonnige und schattige Plätze. Ich durfte sogar auswählen. Klare Ansage wo das Auto nicht stehen darf. (Geläne schonen, ev. Matsch bei Regen) Schöne, ebene Plätze verschiedener grösse. Stromanlage sehr gut. CEE -Standard. Jede Steckdose einzeln abgesichert.
Nichts. Bleiben Sie so freundlich wie immer.
Für mich ist das schon eher ein ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Campingplatz mit ❤️

Il camping Notre Dame è un luogo di tranquillità curato nei dettagli.
Un piccolo camping dove trovare tutto, Eric e la sua famiglia si occupano di far stare bene i loro ospiti con grande attenzione.
Disponibile a dare consigli, aiuta tutti a organizzare al meglio la vacanza.
Il camping è logisticamente perfetto, alle porte di Castellane che si raggiunge facilmente a piedi, ma appena fuori dal passaggio più rumoroso.
Per visitare le località del Verdon è perfetto.

La casetta era perfetta per le nostre esigenze, in 4 con 2 bambini.
La loggia permette di trascorrere il tempo fuori con tranquillità e consumare i pasti all'aperto.
Nella casetta non manca nulla ed è molto confortevole.
