The Tampico campsite is located in Barcelonnette in the heart of the Ubaye Valley, 1.2 km from the city center. You can enjoy the calm of the place, the privileged, incredible environment with views of the surrounding mountains. In the back of the campsite, there is a path, you can reach the city center for 15 minutes. Barcelonnette is a city rich in history, culture with a lot of animations during the summer.
The Tampico is the ideal base for discovering the city, but also for exploring the Parc du Mercantour by hiking, climbing the legendary passes of the Valley, enjoying whitewater sports on the Ubaye ... exotic holidays, in the fresh mountain air!
The Tampico offers flat and shaded pitches for tents, caravans, camper vans as well as weekly or overnight accommodation: mobile homes, chalets, lodges, caravans, as well as Pods, cabins for one night.

Tampico is een hele fijne, rustige camping met goede basisvoorzieningen. Sanitair is schoon, ruime plek voor de tent, broodservice in de ochtend, een goed restaurant en zeer gastvrije campingbeheerders. Barcelonnette is een gezellig stadje en de omgeving is prachtig om te wandelen en te fietsen

Sanitair zeer uitgebreid en schoon. Op loopafstand van het dorpje, een winkel met lokale producten tegenover de camping. Broodservice. Vriendelijke eigenaars. Prima restaurant. Veel variatie in kampeerplekken.
Restaurant ook overdag open voor drankje/ ijsje.
Aankomst tussen de middag mogelijk maken ( moesten nu anderhalf uur wachten)

Elektriciteitspalen staan ver weg, we redden het maar net met ons snoer.

Camping à échelle humaine et accueil super. Beaux emplacements. Sanitaires impeccables chaque jour quelle que soit l'heure !

Sol un peu dur pour planter les piquets de tente mais nous souhaitions être proches des sanitaires. D'autres emplacements herbeux semblaient mieux mais plus éloignés.
