In summer, there is also "live" music on some afternoons/evenings, as well as communal barbecues and children's discos on Fridays. There are good path systems from the square through the forest and along the beautiful sandy beach for both walking and cycling. Borreby Mose and Stigsnæs with a rich birdlife and Basnæs Nor and Glænø with a double coast and shallow lagoon area with exciting botany are close by.Find inspiration as H. C. Andersen did by visiting the estates Holsteinborg, Espe, Basnæs or Herreborgen Borreby.
