Camping du Muhlenbach
Looking for the real Lorraine? The 3-star Muhlenbach campsite offers tranquil holidays and guarantees well-being. Nestling in a small valley in Sturzelbronn in Moselle, the setting is ideal, on the shores of a lake in the heart of the Northern Vosges Country Park. Set at the crossroads of Lorraine, Alsace and Germany, it is particularly popular with holidaymakers who enjoy sightseeing and fresh air. The campsite, which is open from April to September, has direct access to the lake. Some of the accommodation, pitches or mobile homes, are immediately adjacent to the tree-lined, shady beaches with unparalleled views of the lake. On the site are all the services you require for a good holiday e.g. bar-restaurant with deck, grocery, mini-supermarket, tourist brochures and hiking maps etc. The campsite also offers activities for all ages, with a children’s playground, basketball court, table tennis, boules pitch and library. And, of course, there’s swimming, angling and the chance to simply chill out on the lakeside beaches. Footpaths starting at the campsite snake their way through the delightful valleys round about, an ideal way of exploring the region. In Sturzelbronn (1 km), there is a 12th-century Cistercian abbey. Slightly further away is the citadel in Bitche, the Maginot Line and the castles of Alsace standing proudly atop impressive spurs of rock. In fact, whatever you want from a holiday, you’ll find it in Lorraine!
