Wonderful stay on the lake

The establishment

Fabulous campsite which we definitely plan to return to. Large semi shaded pitch with trees and hedges with very friendly sparrows. Super clean bath/wash facilities and toilets with loo roll and hand wash...great! Location is perfect ! Sandwiched between the most beautiful lake and a pretty village with plenty of restaurants. We couldn’t faut it. The reception was quick efficient and friendly too.

Sadly the only 2 negatives are that the snack bar had closed earlier in the season. A pity it couldn’t remain open until the end of the season. Also we stayed during the Natureman triathlon weekend and we wish the campsite had warned us before as we would have chosen another date. The atmosphere in the campsite changed as triathletes replaced normal campers. They largely were unfriendly and moody. The loudspeaker announcements spoiled the tranquility. Best to avoid this weekend at end of September unless you are there for the competition
